A Hard Time for Pronouns, in General

For instance, “Him and me don’t care about your fucking pronouns,” is a plausible sentence from a college-educated American. (During the British Open last weekend, I heard an American golf announcer say a player “shoulda went” with pitching wedge.)

    Those golf announcers don’t know the difference between a pronoun and an amateur noun…
