In a holiday tradition here at Writing Boots, I share Norene McIntosh’s story of the Christmas her dad died, when she was four—and what she taught her grieving mother, about miracles. Noreen is the late mother of my pal and colleague Sharon McIntosh.

    That’s quite a story. I didn’t have time to read it the first time so I’m grateful that you used it twice. Reminds me of my father who was a great believer in, and promoter of Santa Claus.
