Funnier and funnier to me grows the idea of grown men trudging off to work every day, to sit at desks and devise new ways to show two men beating the tarnation out of one another over a woman who can't make up her mind—for an audience of children.

    Throwing tennis balls at the hapless, black kid in the booth is hilarious, too.
    As is binding the woman and placing her on railroad tracks to await decapitation.
    Never liked Popeye as a kid.
    Haven’t seen it since–until this post.
    I was a smart kid.

    If you think Popeye is disturbing–and it no doubt is–you should check out the Betty Boop stuff, which Popeye grew out of.
    Betty was one twisted sister.
