You should, it's good for mental health. Writing Bootista Eileen Burmeister shares one of her favorite "Fake AP" rules:
Avoid using masculine pronouns in sentences where the subject's gender is not specified. Broads find it offensive.
On communication, professional and otherwise.
I love the Fake AP Stylebook!!
It’s so funny that you post this, because when I saw it the first thing I thought of was that I could hear YOU saying this. Obviously, I was correct.
P.S. How come Eileen gets a cool handle?? Writing Bootista?! Come ON!!! She doesn’t even drink coffee!!!
Look, Kristen. Eileen is a Writing Bootista, OK? You, on the other hand, are one of the little-known but elite Writing Boots Fighting Troops.
Oh – I’m one of the “elite”?! Well, that’s okay then!
I humbly accept my award as Writing Bootista and will attempt to live up to everything that title implies. Just as soon as I figure out what that is…
“I *humbly* accept . . .” Hahahahahahah HA!
It it’s a fake award, I can fake humility. ๐
I can see you broads aren’t taking this seriously.
