Marketers see it this way, business consultants show CEOs this kind of stuff and HR and training goons think it amounts to this.

Can anybody explain why internal communication is so badly misunderstood?

    Because too often internal communications thinks of itself in all these ways too. And so do the people we’re trying to communicate with…man, I’m depressing even myself with that…

    Because everyone tends to focus on how information is communicated rather than how it is understood.
