Monday Morning Memo: Mental wellness edition

10.26.2020 by David Murray // 1 Comment

Recently issued by the counseling office at a major university’s school of medicine (which means recently written by some poor schmo in the communication department there):

This reminds me of an employee publication article that offered tips for not eating and drinking too much at holiday parties: Fill your plate with foods you don’t like. And ask for drinks you also don’t like.

Thanks so much for sharing! This really made me laugh!
And happy that I am not working in anyone’s communications department. I’m guessing that it had to go through several layers of approval and a few revisions before it was deemed ready to go. And thanks to you, some humorless person at the holiday party will be able to boast about all the great publicity they’ve been getting, while munching on a chicken wing and sipping a limearita.
