Thai food for thought

My father-in-law is married to a Thai woman. She posts on Facebook in Thai, and Facebook translates to English. Thai seems resistant to literal translation. But it's awesome for poetic translation. I used to read e.e. cummings. Now I just read Translations of Jutatip:

An unexpected phenomenon has happened on the stomach. There is a cloud of fog coming to cuddle rain. It's raining like a famous water. Let's come down to all of Korat's children. Stay cool all over the face!!! You have a picture of you. But I will remember what I have received and memories for as long as it takes!!
