"God!" went the very first prayer ("god" just being a desperate choking burp noise), "Tell me what to do this morning!"
The prayers gradually became much more elaborate.
But the essential problem remains:
People are looking for marching orders.
(And if God invented people? Probably, it was because monkeys wouldn't listen.)
