Are we all gassing on these days about the importance of stories because we feel suddenly and permanently out of new ideas?

    Good writers have always had an instinctive knowledge of the value of storytelling. It’s just that, these days, storytelling is suddenly seen as some kind of cure-all for every one of our corporate communications failures.
    The memo usually goes something like this:
    We’re not getting buy-in for this new water-boarding initiative – we need to tell more stories.
