    Me too. But I take some comfort in knowing that in a few decades others will inevitably make the same mistake about our generation.

    Yeah, that’s fun to think about, Rueben. By and large, will they be lauding our naiveté, as we do the young adults of the 1950s, or our nobility, as we grant the people of the 1940s? Or will we be seen as selfish, like those sixties hippies?

    Truth is, we’re probably less on all those fronts – less naive, less noble and less selfish – than Future People will think.
