I’ve got a lot going on these days …

… and yet, some percentage of my creative energy is actually going toward trying to figure out how to close the hole in the Gulf of Mexico. Not that my ideas are great—I keep coming back to, "what about a giant bowling ball?" and go to sleep repeating a mantra, "if you can drill it, you can fill it."

But I'm mesmerized by the how-hard-can-it-be problem of dropping something very big and very heavy on the son-of-a-bitching thing.

I hope I or someone else comes up with something soon, because, like BP's in-touch-with-his-feelings CEO Tony Hayward, I need this spill to stop so I can get my life back.
