my leader (well, she’s my manager anyway) doesn’t particularly want to keep in touch. it has boggled my mind for over 2 years since she came to our department. in order to get her to read one of my emails i have to have the subject line say: GAIL PLEASE READ and mark it as high importance.
her manager, however, did read my email voicing a concern on the same day i sent it and responded with a phone call. i still talk about it to my colleagues and it was 5 months ago.

I’d like to comment on what a great example of transparency, commitment and down-to-earth-ness this is, and how every other CEO, boss, and manager could take a lesson, because, if the President of the United States can find time to respond to letters like this, how can they say THEY don’t have the time?! Really, I would like to comment!
Unfortunately, since Crescenzo dubbed me with the dubious title of “apologist for all things Obama” on HIS blog, I don’t dare, lest I be written off on that basis.
I’ll look forward to OTHER people’s comments on this though!!

Kristen, perhaps you can safely comment on the skill of the filmmakers in capturing the milk chocolate High Definition goodness of our handsome president?

… possibly I’d also be safe noting the smooth and reassuring cadence of his voice in the voice-over, and the calming, yet upbeat and non-partisan nature of the smile Obama sports in the video.
