In a world of totes adorbs cell-phone covers and amazing spouses, I'm stoked at how we kick it old school in emails that begin, "I hope this message finds you well."

Well?

It comes from an age when the greatest and most rational concern at any interval was the onset of incurable consumption or typhus or small pox. When people had bum tickers, rheumatism and hardening of the arteries.

And finds you?

That comes from a time when messages—and the people who carried them—actually had to find people in a particular place, rather than people accessing a server from anyplace.

"I hope this message find you well."

That's lit.
