    I saw Cab Calloway and the orchestra perform this number and ‘Minnie the Moocher’live at the Stanley Theater in Utica, New York circa 1943 when I was 11. The Andrews Sisters also performed during that same period doing ‘The Strip Polka’with the refrain “Take it off, take it off was all she could hear from a voice in the rear…” Thanks for the Friday afternoon memory.
