Once more into the country

08.19.2021 by David Murray // Leave a Comment

It was on a cross-Illinois motorcycle solo ramble six years ago, when I turned over 20,000 miles on the Triumph and wrote an account, which became an essay in my book, “Other Life, Not So Far Away.”

Between the tall cornfields on a long-weekend round-trip ramble to Peoria starting this morning, I’ll get to 30,000.

Maybe I’ll return from this one with some new words, too. We could use ’em, could we not?
