He says he doesn't drink because his brother Freddy was an alcoholic and told him never to drink. But that never added up. Trump turned 21 in 1967—probably in the middle of his brother's good drinking years. Does this look like a guy who would tell you never to drink?
Don never once tried booze? That's honestly very hard to believe.
Much more likely is that he did try drinking, and he was unbelievably bad at it.
And it figures. Because sober, Trump already talks and acts like a drunk—a boorish, know-it-all, grandiose, and-I'll-tell-you-another-thing-as-soon-as-I-can-get-another-rum-and-coke drunk.
The kind that, if you got caught next to him at a bar, you'd excuse yourself, and climb out the bathroom window.
Now. Can you imagine if Trump was drunk?
Or maybe when he tried booze, and it actually made him reasonable.
And he didn't like the feeling of being in control.
