Wow! Here I am discussing the topic of the teenage drinking in our neighborhood. While I am very well aware that this goes on, and every generation has a group. I am worried! Not only am I worried about the young kids who are drinking, WHAT they are drinking, and what choices they are making when they are drinking. I am also concerned about the kids who choose not to drink…they are upset, confused and struggling with watching someone they love and care about do this. They are struggling with being loyal to their friends but, feeling the pressure of worrying about what happens if something happens and they don't tell. Now what?!….

What, indeed, People?!

My 17 year old son is surrounded by schoolmates who spend the weekends drinking, which limits his options for having a good time without being surrounded by drunks.
On the positive side, when we walk the dog we collect empty bottle, save a couple of weeks’ worth, and take them back for deposit. Got $5.25 turning in bottles last Wednesday.
