I'm now being followed on Twitter by a moon shadow who claims in his bio, "I am passionate about helping others achieve their business goals."
Let's break this down: How could someone be "passionate" … about helping random other people … achieve unspecified "business goals"?
So I asked him, via a direct message.
He came back, "Blending technology, psychology, statistics, sales and creativity to win customers at low cost!"
Consultant, spiel thyself.
You should have said: “Listen, I’ve got kind of a shitty product that I’m trying to push on people using social media and other stuff. I figure if I can unload the thing on about 2,000 people before word gets out it sucks, I’ll be okay. I’m glad you’re passionate about helping me meet my goals. Let’s talk soon.”

I really read that as “blending technology, psychic”. Which may not be far off, either.
Hahahahahaha! That Steve! He always seems to get right to the heart of the matter.
I also quite liked: “Consultant, spiel thyself”.
Two laughs for the price of one blog post – THAT is what I call ROI!
The guy reminds me of a commercial for Buddy’s Carpet, back in Ohio. Buddy used to yell into the camera, “I don’t care about makin’ money. I jus’ love to sell carpet!”
I remember Buddy. And his carpet. That was clearly not his own hair.
Buddy, carpet thyself.
